transfair is a recognised social partner of the ETH Domain. The social partnership includes ETH Zurich, EPFL in Lausanne, the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL), the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) as well as the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag). The ETH Board is the strategic management and supervisory body of the ETH Domain. transfair is active in all domains in its support for improved employment conditions and wages.
transfair is the public service staff association and is a long-standing, recognised social partner of the Federal Institute of Technology sector. In relation to legal matters, transfair states its views regarding amendments to legislation and regulations that affect ETH staff. The aim of this is to ensure that consideration is given to the concerns of employees within the most important political and organisational bodies. In addition, every year transfair is involved in negotiations concerning salary increases for ETH employees. The staff association exercises political influence through its President and National Council member Greta Gysin. transfair has good relations with the ETH Board as well as with the personnel departments of ETH schools and institutes.

Membership Fees
*For the fulfillment of tasks, a section fee may be charged by the section. The section fee may not exceed 25% of the main contribution.
It is the responsibility of the member to report any correction of the employment percentage. Contributions will not be refunded retroactively.
